The Wilmington Dance Academy is a dance instruction school located on the corner of Main Street. It specializes in teaching classes such as ballet, jazz, salsa, hip hop and ballroom. This location also offers Zumba and Pilates classes as well as a Mommy and Me class. Dancers can receive family or group discounts here. Classes are taught seven days a week.
The Andover School of Ballet is located next to the Andover Thrift Shop downtown. It teaches ballet plus a variety of other dance classes including jazz, tap, modern dance, Mommy and Me and hip hop. Children must be at least two years old to take a class here. This location hosts a school wide recital every spring and offers summer sessions.
Just Dance is a regionally renowned dance studio. A team of professional choreographers and instructors groom young talents, teaching technicality and nurturing creativity. Students can participate in the studio's dance team, which competes at regional and national levels.
Sereda DanceWorks is a local dance studio offering a variety of classes for children, teens and adults, including hip-hop, jazz, ballet, pointe, lyrical modern and Broadway dance theater training. It offers boys classes, too. There are six instructors on staff, including founder Carol Schneider-Sereda.
