It offers individual and group oriented recovery services, assiting individuals in social lifestyles, education, health, work and housing, using peer support and a variety of symtpom management and creative and expressive arts techniques.

Riverhead Polish Hall is a catering facility that hosts a number of events each year. The main room has a seating capacity of 320 while the Garden Room holds 75 comfortably. The Polish Hall has special events for its members and for the public such as "Steak Night," which is hosted the last Thursday of every month. There is also a bar and bowling alley that is open to the public.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) was founded in 1899 as a grassroots organization. Each post is governed by itself.
