The Hingham Distric Court is located on George Washington Boulevard between the rotary and Nantasket Beach. It is the Second District Court of Plymouth County and is a division of the Massachusetts Trial Court. The court hears civil and felony and misdemeanor criminal cases. The Juvenile Court also sits in the Higham District Court. The Hingham District Court has jurisdiction over the towns of Hingham, Hull, Hanover, Norwell, Rockland and Situate.
