Thunderbird Lodge is a full-service resort that offers accommodations for individuals and groups. The resort s private cabins feature decks and barbecue grills. Its rooms are equipped with microwaves, coffee makers, and king- and queen-sized beds. Thunderbird Lodge maintains banquet and meeting facilities that can accommodate up to 150 people for hosting bridal showers and social gatherings. In addition, the resort provides gold, silver and bronze packages for its annual fishing trips. Its marina offers canoes and paddle boats, as well as a selection of seasonal dock slips on a rental basis. Thunderbird Lodge also maintains a lounge that serves filet mignon, marinated Iowa pork chops and barbecue ribs.
