Operated by the Missouri Department of Conservation, the Jay Henges Shooting Range and Outdoor Education Center has ranges for rifles, pistols and bow and arrow. There also is a shotgun patterning range and a trap shooting range. The facilities are available for individual or group use. The education center is designed to help the public become better and safer hunters. There are a variety of outdoor skills programs, including courses in master firearms, archery, and map and compass reading.
